Take action

This is it. No more complaining. If you are still in the same situation this year that you were in last year, there is no one to blame but yourself. This includes me.

I’m stuck at a desk at a business that is not my own, taking on new assignments that I have never done before. But I always figure out what to do for others.

Two weeks ago, I took action on some things that I needed to do to get my business moving forward. First of all, I had to get myself into a routine of doing what I could do for myself upon rising every morning. I was so used to putting myself last, that by the end of the day, I was too tired to do anything.

Being in a calm state at the beginning  of each morning sets the tone for my day. Once you figure out whatever works for you will help you get rid of your anxiety, fear, and doubts and propel you to take action.

My customized morning consists of:


Taking deep breaths (5 minutes)

Exercising in the corner of my room (10 minutes)

Writing (no time limit)

Watching Periscope videos

Writing out what I need to work on when I get home

My goal in the first quarter of 2016 is to devote at least 15 hours per week toward my business. What are you goals? I would love to hear about them.
